This 7-piece matryoshka nesting doll set is hand-painted in deep blue and gold tones with detailed winter village scenes. Each doll features a traditional Russian face with golden hair accents and ornate decorative patterns, while the bodies depict snowy landscapes, horse-drawn sleighs (troikas), village houses, and winter activities such as sledding and carrying firewood. The painted scenes change on each doll, becoming simpler and more intimate as the size decreases. The largest doll measures approximately 22 cm in height, with six smaller dolls nested inside to complete the set.

Opening and caring for your dolls
Hold the top and bottom halves in both hands and twist gently along the seam instead of pulling straight up. Keep the set away from damp rooms and radiators, and dust it with a dry cloth.

Yours will not be identical to the photo
Every set is painted freehand, so the flowers, the face and the grain differ a little from one to the next. The photograph shows the pattern and the colours, not the exact set you will receive.
A new set can feel tight
The halves are cut to grip. Twist gently along the seam rather than pulling, and if it stays stiff, a little dry wax on the bare inner rim sorts it out.
It arrives packed for the journey
Tissue between the halves, a sealed sleeve against damp, bubble wrap, and a double-walled box. Shipping is included and insured, and you get a tracking number when it leaves.
