This 5-piece nesting doll set depicts a traditional folk family scene. The largest doll features a mustached man in a patterned shirt and sash, while the outer female doll is decorated with a large sunflower motif on her apron. The smaller figures show a child holding fruit, a ribbon-painted doll, and a tiny yellow chick as the final piece. Each figure has expressive faces, bright hand-painted colors, and rounded forms, nesting neatly inside the 10 cm outer doll.

Opening and caring for your dolls
Hold the top and bottom halves in both hands and twist gently along the seam instead of pulling straight up. Keep the set away from damp rooms and radiators, and dust it with a dry cloth.

Every set is painted freehand, so the flowers, the face and the grain differ a little from one to the next. The photograph shows the pattern and the colours, not the exact set you will receive.
A new set can feel tight
The halves are cut to grip. Twist gently along the seam rather than pulling, and if it stays stiff, a little dry wax on the bare inner rim sorts it out.
It arrives packed for the journey
Tissue between the halves, a sealed sleeve against damp, bubble wrap, and a double-walled box. Shipping is included and insured, and you get a tracking number when it leaves.
