This 5-piece matryoshka set is hand-painted with atmospheric winter night scenes. The largest doll shows a female portrait framed by a dark headscarf and blue fur collar, with a snowy village scene featuring a couple near a wooden house. The other dolls continue the winter theme with figures, trees, and snowy details in cool blue and black tones. All pieces nest smoothly into one another. The largest doll measures approximately 17 cm in height.

Opening and caring for your dolls
Hold the top and bottom halves in both hands and twist gently along the seam instead of pulling straight up. Keep the set away from damp rooms and radiators, and dust it with a dry cloth.

Yours will not be identical to the photo
Every set is painted freehand, so the flowers, the face and the grain differ a little from one to the next. The photograph shows the pattern and the colours, not the exact set you will receive.
A new set can feel tight
The halves are cut to grip. Twist gently along the seam rather than pulling, and if it stays stiff, a little dry wax on the bare inner rim sorts it out.
It arrives packed for the journey
Tissue between the halves, a sealed sleeve against damp, bubble wrap, and a double-walled box. Shipping is included and insured, and you get a tracking number when it leaves.
